ICE SKATING ASSOCIATION (ISA) TESTS
After the Aussie Skate levels, ISA testing begins with the Preliminary level and graduates all the way through to the higher level freeskate & pattern tests. Tests are available for singles, pairs and ice dancers. Test sessions are organised by the New South Wales Ice Skating Association (NSWISA), with the assistance of the various Club Test Co-ordinators. Test sessions are allocated to the Clubs/rinks by the NSWISA at the start of each calendar year and the test dates are included in the NSWISA calendar.
Skaters must be ready to test before a booking is made. The test form must be always signed by the skater's coach and by their Home Club co-ordinator. Please indicate on your test form which venue is preferred. Test forms are available from the NSWISA web site and the Macquarie Ice Rink notice board. Test forms are to be forwarded to the NSWISA with payment. Only when a completed form is received with payment will a booking be confirmed.
2011 TEST APPLICATION FORM
A completed application and fee in favour of NSWISA must be sent to Sports House 4 weeks in advance. A copy of the test application is to be given by the candidate to the Home Club Test Organiser once the test fee has been paid. A test officer will then book in the test but will not accept the booking without prior payment to NSWISA. Please read the test regulations on the NSWISA website re withdrawal.

Importantly, all people at the time of taking an ISA test must be a Junior, Senior or Associate member of the NSWISA, and a member of a figure skating club. For NSWISA membership, this will usually be Junior if under 16 years of age, or Senior if 16 years of age or more. Basic, Synchro or Adult membership is not sufficient.
