Welcome to the website of Macquarie Ice Skating Club (MISC).

Our club is based at the Macquarie Ice Rink, inside the Macquarie Shopping Centre, North Ryde, Sydney, NSW, Australia.

With more than 240 members both within and outside of Australia, we have been active in promoting interest and participation in ice skating for the past 20 years.

We currently boast one 2006 Olympian, Joanne Carter, and several National Champions and International Skaters amongst our members. We are well represented at Australian Figure Skating Championships by individual skaters, pairs and synchronised teams.

We proudly support and involve our skaters at all levels, from beginner Aussie Skaters up to championship level. We foster good sportsmanship and encourage friendship among skaters and parents. Our club has led the way in supporting its championship skaters by offering rebates to eligible members competing at State, National and International levels.

We aim to hold 6 competitions each year at our home rink: 4 Spin Spiral and Jump competitions, our Club Championships and our Premier Artistic Competition MIRA.

Figure skating is one of the most personally, athletically and aesthetically satisfying sports in the world. Our club is inclusive and friendly. We encourage your involvement. Check out this website and come and join us!
